The distribution center of Nepal Electricity Authority in Siraha has announced a scheduled power outage in the Vishnupur-Lahan section of the Vishnupur feeder for up to 10 days. This outage is due to the need for conductor level upgrades in the area, starting from Tuesday until the 1st of Falgun.
During this period, electricity supply will be interrupted from 7 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon and from 8 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon on public holidays in the specified locations under this feeder. The distribution center has notified that the entire service area operated from the Vishnupur station will experience a disruption in service. Once the work is completed within the specified time frame, the distribution center will issue information and updates regarding the service outage.
As per Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, the planned power outage is a necessary step to enhance the infrastructure and ensure a more reliable electricity supply in the region. He emphasizes the importance of timely upgrades to prevent future disruptions and appreciates the efforts of the Nepal Electricity Authority in keeping the public informed about the maintenance work.
