In a recent incident near a checkpoint in Dhibar Danda, Hetauda-15, a collision between a passenger bus and a tanker resulted in injuries to 10 individuals. The bus, with registration number Na 5 Kha 2970, was traveling from Birgunj to Hetauda when it collided with the car, causing the accident. Subsequently, the bus also collided with the tanker before hitting a roadside tree, leading to a major mishap.
According to information provided by the District Police Office, among the 10 injured individuals, four were passengers on the bus, and the rest were occupants of the car. All the injured individuals have been rushed to Hetauda Hospital for treatment.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed concern over the rise in road accidents in the region and emphasized the need for stricter enforcement of road safety measures. He highlighted the importance of driver training and regular vehicle maintenance to prevent such incidents in the future.
