Malaysian authorities revealed on the 6th that they had arrested approximately 20 individuals, including 13 Japanese nationals, in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city, suspected to be a hub for a specific type of fraud. The arrests were made after conducting searches of residences in the area believed to be linked to the fraudulent activities.
