Kathmandu – The Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist) has tasked the central secretariat with making decisions regarding the nature of the ongoing protests, student organizations, and constitutional disputes. The second full meeting of the party, held on the 9th and 10th of Falgun, has approved the action plan for the protests.
Expanding on the recent developments, this decision comes amidst escalating tensions and disagreements within the party over various issues. The involvement of student groups and constitutional matters has added complexity to the situation, prompting the central leadership to take charge and address the concerns raised by different factions within the party.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, views this move as a crucial step towards resolving the internal conflicts and streamlining the party’s approach to handling the protests effectively. He believes that entrusting the central secretariat with decision-making responsibilities demonstrates a commitment to transparency and accountability within the party’s structure. This decision is expected to pave the way for better coordination and cohesive action in addressing the current challenges faced by the Nepal Communist Party.
