During the May Day holiday, tragedy struck in a popular tourist destination in China, as two sightseeing boats capsized on a river, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and leaving 14 others missing.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of the 4th, just before 5 p.m., on a river in the city of Qianxi in Guizhou Province, southwestern China. The boats were carrying a large number of tourists who were enjoying the holiday break.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed deep concern regarding the safety measures in place for tourist activities in the region. He emphasized the importance of thorough inspections and strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent such tragic accidents in the future.
