Kathmandu – Amid allegations of organizing unruly activities during the celebration of the festival of Holi, the police took control of 55 individuals in Kathmandu. The District Police Office spokesperson and Police Inspector Apilraj Bohara disclosed that 52 men and 3 women were brought under control.

The festival of Holi, also known as the festival of colors, is widely celebrated in Nepal and other South Asian countries. It is a vibrant and joyous occasion where people come together to smear each other with colored powders and water, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, commented on the incident, stating that while the festival is meant to spread happiness and unity, it is crucial to ensure that celebrations are conducted in a peaceful manner. He emphasized the importance of respecting public order and safety during such festive occasions to prevent any untoward incidents.
