A new Nepali film titled “Janai Haraeko Bahun: Sambandhaka Dhaagaroo” is set to be released on Bhadra 6. The film’s production team has announced the public screening date after unveiling a scene from the movie on Monday.

The symbolic scene features a person standing in front of a setting sun, with an airplane flying above. In the person’s silhouette, a large house-like shadow can be seen. The scene portrays a blue color at the bottom and evening mist above. The person in the scene is unidentifiable, but it is speculated to be Vijay Baral, possibly hinting at a storyline involving foreign employment due to the presence of a large airplane.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his opinion on the film, stating that the portrayal of a mother’s happiness being derived from her son’s journey to earn a living abroad is a poignant narrative that resonates with many families in Nepal. Khatri also commended the director, Himal Neupane, for his debut direction in capturing the transition in a simple individual’s life from rural to urban settings.

The film boasts a strong lineup of actors, including Manish Raut from “Prem Geet 3,” along with Vijay Baral, Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Gaurav Pahadi, and Sushank Mainali in lead roles. Additionally, actors like Bholaraj Sapkota, Riear Rai, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, and Suman Thapaliya are part of the ensemble cast.

“Janai Haraeko Bahun: Sambandhaka Dhaagaroo” is currently in post-production under the banner of Paperclip Productions. The film is produced by Kamal Neupane and Vimal Neupane, with co-producers including RK Manandhar, Rupesh Lama, CR Basnet, and others. The screenplay and dialogues are penned by Bhanubhakta Dhakal, with Dinesh Bahadur Raut serving as the chief assistant director.

The film features music by Thaneshwor Gautam, Arjun Pokharel, SD Yogi, and Prashant Sivakoti, with cinematography by Navin Gurung DOP and Krishna Pariyar. Laxman Raj Paudel is the production manager, overseeing the film’s creation, with the production team planning to release the first-look poster in the coming days.

This year marks Vijay Baral’s first lead role in a film following the success of the all-time blockbuster “Purna Bahadurko Sarangi.” Fans are eagerly anticipating his performance alongside Keki and the unique storyline presented in “Janai Haraeko Bahun: Sambandhaka Dhaagaroo,” which is expected to make a significant impact on the Nepali film industry.
