The victim, 19-year-old Aansu Yadav from Ward No. 23 of Janakpur Dham Sub-Metropolitan City, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, as confirmed by the police.
The incident took place amidst the Holi festivities in Janakpur. Following the alleged knife attack, 21-year-old Dhrmendra Mahato was apprehended by the authorities. It was reported that the altercation escalated during the Holi celebrations, leading to the fatal stabbing of Yadav, who suffered severe injuries and unfortunately passed away during the course of his treatment.
