An emergency situation unfolded on Friday at the Thai airport when a Thai Airways flight, en route from Phuket to New Delhi, had to make an emergency landing due to a bomb threat. This incident came just a day after a tragic accident in the Indian city of Ahmedabad involving an Air India passenger jet bound for London, which resulted in the deaths of at least 265 passengers.

According to reports, the Phuket airport authorities communicated that the pilot of the Airbus A320 aircraft had transmitted a message threatening a bomb explosion to the air traffic control through radio broadcast on their official Facebook page.

Flight tracking website FlightRadar24 revealed that the Phuket-bound flight made a U-turn over the Andaman Sea and circled multiple times near the coastline before proceeding with the landing. The incident has raised concerns about aviation safety and security measures.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his deep concern over the escalating incidents of threats targeting flights. He emphasized the importance of stringent security protocols and thorough investigations to ensure the safety of passengers and crew members. Khatri urged authorities to take swift action to prevent such incidents in the future.
