The Nepali Congress General Secretary Shankar Pokharel and Surya Pathak are set to provide training to Nepali Congress activists in Japan. The program includes internal training as well as interactive sessions. The Nepali diaspora organization, Pravasi Nepali Manch, plans to organize interactive programs in Japan’s three main cities, focusing on the challenges faced by Nepalis living in Japan and the support needed from the government. The President, Kulchandra Kharel, mentioned that the training program will also involve leaders of the organization, members, and advisors.
In addition to the training in the main cities, a session is scheduled for Nagoya, where the regional president Nares Rai will oversee the internal training for Nepali Congress activists on February 1, 2025. Representatives from Japan will provide training to members from different committees and regions. Furthermore, an interactive program is planned in Tokyo on February 2, with Shankar Pokharel leading the event.
The training and interactive programs will continue in Okinawa, where central member Dr. Surya Prasad Pathak will oversee the training for Nepali Congress activists. The regional committee members, advisors, and representatives will participate in the training session before the open interaction program. The Nepali diaspora organization’s international committee member and Japan in-charge, Suresh Keshi, provided information about the upcoming events.
