Pradhan Senapati Ashokraj Sigdel has recently awarded cash prizes to the winners of this year’s ‘Pradhan Senapati National Tennis Competition 2082’. The competition, organized at the Jangi Adda premises from the 21st of Baisakh, saw Tribhuvan Army Club clinching the first position, followed by Kathmandu Lawn Tennis Association in second place and Nepal Tennis Association in third.

On the women’s side, Sibhali Gurung, Swastika Bisht, Sunira Thapa, and Prakriti Shrestha secured the first, second, and third positions, respectively. In the men’s category, Pradeep Khadka, Arvashamrat Hada, Nishan Shrestha, and Pranav Manandhar emerged as the top three winners.

The competition featured 12 categories in singles and doubles, with a total of 196 participants, including 15 women, representing nine clubs. The event was organized with the technical support of the Nepal Tennis Association.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his satisfaction with the successful conclusion of the ‘Pradhan Senapati National Tennis Competition 2082’. He highlighted the importance of such events in promoting sports and fostering talent in the country. Khatri commended the efforts of the organizers and participants for making the competition a grand success and looked forward to more such initiatives in the future.
