The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) achieved a historic victory in the Delhi state legislative assembly elections on Saturday, marking a significant shift in power after 27 years, with the Aam Aadmi Party being ousted from office. The BJP-led coalition, following victories in Maharashtra and Haryana, has now been entrusted by the people of Delhi to represent them, winning more than two-thirds of the seats in the 70-seat assembly.

I congratulate the BJP on this victory, and I hope they fulfill all the promises made to the people who have voted for them.”
