A tragic incident occurred in Kavasoti Municipality-1, Nawalparasi Bardaghat Susta Purba, where a motorcycle accident in the jungle resulted in the death of two individuals, identified as 24-year-old Ishwar Darlami and 21-year-old Sagar Darlami from Shantitole in the same municipality. The motorcycle with registration number Lu 13 Pa 702 lost control while coming from Mundevi towards Lokaha, leading to the fatal accident.
According to Inspector Yadav Dhakal from the District Police Office, both victims, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, were rescued and rushed to the Madhyavindu Regional Hospital for treatment. However, medical professionals at the hospital declared them deceased upon arrival.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident and emphasized the need for road safety awareness to prevent such accidents in the future. “Our hearts go out to the families of the deceased in this difficult time. It is crucial for authorities to implement stricter measures to ensure the safety of all road users,” stated Khatri.
