Bus from Kathmandu to Dhanusha: Passenger Found Dead on Board

A tragic incident occurred on Monday evening as a bus traveling from Kathmandu to Dhanusha claimed the life of an Indian national. The deceased, identified as Jagdish Yadav, a 55-year-old resident of Bihar, was found dead in his seat on the bus during the early hours of Tuesday.

Yadav was a passenger on the Madhesh Pr. 004-001 Star bus when he was discovered lifeless. The incident was reported to the authorities by other passengers and the bus driver after Yadav was found unresponsive. Local police officials from Dhalkebar informed that the driver and co-driver of the bus have been taken into custody for further investigation.

In response to the situation, the regional hospital in Janakpur Dham has been requested to conduct an autopsy on the deceased to determine the cause of death. The authorities are working to gather more information to understand the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.

Ramesh Khatri, a local resident, expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety and security of passengers while traveling on public transportation. He called for thorough investigations to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future and urged authorities to take necessary measures to enforce strict regulations in the transportation sector.
