Residents of Mahendranagar and Janakpurdham, among other areas in the region, celebrated Holi with great enthusiasm. The locals came together, applying colors and joyously celebrating the festival of colors with each other. While in other districts of the Terai region, Holi concluded on Friday, Janakpurdham marked an additional day of festive celebrations.

The festival is characterized by smearing colored powders on each other, singing and dancing, and spreading joy and love among communities.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, commented on the Holi celebrations in Janakpur, stating that the vibrant and lively atmosphere during the festivities truly captured the essence of community spirit and cultural richness.
