The chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has announced that according to the authority vested in the Cabinet by the constitution, land has been made available to Patanjali for operating healthcare services in the best interest of the public. This decision was revealed during the inauguration of a workers’ gathering organized by the party’s Far Western Province Committee on Friday.
Chairman Nepal defended himself, stating that he was innocent as the decision regarding Patanjali’s land was a policy decision. He also mentioned that the party has formed a team of legal experts to defend the matter and expressed confidence that justice will prevail swiftly in court.
Ramesh Khatri, representing Kansai Nepal News, shared his opinion on the matter. He emphasized that Chairman Nepal has placed the country and the people’s interests at the forefront, ensuring that the party has established a strong ideological foundation for socialist revolution. Khatri highlighted the importance of the party adhering to correct policies, principles, and programs to bring about economic and social transformation for the people.
Furthermore, Chairman Nepal, who has also served as a former Prime Minister, addressed concerns raised by some individuals who have attempted to incite party division due to their dissatisfaction with the party’s performance in national politics. He stated that the Communist Party’s split has hindered addressing society’s fundamental needs, leading to increased disillusionment and anger among the public.
