“Change in Secretary of Finance Ministry”

The government has made a decision to change the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance in Nepal. This decision was taken during a cabinet meeting held on Monday. Dr. Ram Prasad Ghimire, who was serving as the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, has been relieved from his duties and Ghanashyam Upadhyay, the Secretary of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), has been appointed as the new Secretary of Finance.

Furthermore, during the meeting, it was disclosed by a minister that Baburam Adhikari, who is currently serving as the Chief Secretary of Lumbini Province, will be promoted to fill the vacant Secretary position.

This move signifies a significant change in leadership within the Ministry of Finance, with the new Secretary expected to bring fresh perspectives and approaches to the management of financial affairs in the country.
