Janakpur: Chief Minister of Province 2, Satish Kumar Singh, has issued directives to shut down five hospitals in Bardibas, Mahottari, that have been operating illegally and without proper authorization. The directive was given after an inspection conducted by the Chief Minister on Friday.

The five hospitals that have been ordered to close are Pinak Hospital, Secure Orthopedic and Dental Clinic, Om Social Dental Clinic, Kharga Dental Care Center, and Khomusara Dental Clinic.

These hospitals were found to be operating without the necessary permits to provide healthcare services. The Chief Minister Singh instructed the closure of these hospitals immediately, emphasizing the need to comply with legal standards and procedures to obtain the required permissions to operate. In addition to the closures, Chief Minister Singh has also directed the renovation of Jansewa Hospital Pvt. Ltd. and D.N.B. Medicare Center to improve healthcare services in the region.

Chief Minister Singh, who has been emphasizing the need for strict oversight of private hospital operations, has been actively working to ensure that hospitals comply with physical infrastructure, healthcare equipment, and human resource management standards.
