Recently, the President of China, Xi Jinping, undertook a grand visit to Moscow for the celebrations of Victory Day, marking the anniversary of the Second World War. During his visit, Jinping expressed China’s readiness to expand practical cooperation with the Russian military.

Both leaders reaffirmed their staunch opposition to ‘hegemonic threats’ from the United States, signaling a united front against external pressures.
Moreover, Putin’s cordial interactions with journalists and Jinping’s reference to the Chinese leader as his ‘dear friend’ highlight the camaraderie between the two nations. The discussions during Jinping’s visit focused on fostering a traditional and friendly relationship between China and Russia.
