Chitwan FC emerged victorious in a Nepal Super League (NSL) football match held on Monday at the Dasharath Rangashala stadium in Tripureshwar. They defeated Pokhara Thunders with a score of 2-0, securing the win. The goals that led to their victory were scored by Noddy Mahabaloon and Niraj Chaudhary, each contributing one goal.
Mahabaloon scored the opening goal for Chitwan in the 15th minute of the game, giving their team an early lead. Chaudhary then added another goal during extra time in the second half. With this win, Chitwan accumulated 3 points in the league standings.
Chitwan FC, who secured a win in the ongoing season, is currently at the top of the table. Their previous two matches ended in draws. Tomorrow, Butwal Lumbini and Dhangadhi FC will face off in the upcoming competition.
According to Ramesh Khatri, representative of Kansai Nepal News, this victory signifies a strong start for Chitwan FC in the NSL, positioning them as a team to watch out for in the league.
