Claiming World Records in Four Categories at Kumbh Mela

In the bustling city of Kathmandu, the Kumbh Mela held in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India every 12 years has been transformed into a grand celebration by the central and state governments. The state allocated a whopping 70 billion Indian Rupees for various infrastructure developments for the Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The preparations for the Kumbh Mela include plans to present various activities as potential world record contenders, such as the largest religious gathering globally, a parade showcasing the most extensive use of electrical transportation, a massive cleanliness campaign, and an attempt to create the largest handprint painting, all aiming for recognition in the Guinness World Records.

To facilitate the record-breaking attempts, the state government plans to establish a dedicated authority and work closely with the Prayagraj Mela Organizing Committee to coordinate efforts with representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records.
