In recent developments, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported the formation of rain-bearing clouds originating from the western region of Nepal, which are expected to bring rainfall across various parts of the country. According to Sanjeev Adhikari, a senior meteorologist at the department, these weather patterns are likely to persist for the next few days, urging caution and preparedness among the public.

Specifically, this evening, clouds have been observed moving from the mountainous and hilly regions of Gandaki Province in Gorakha towards the far-western Himalayan and hilly regions near Darchula, indicating impending rainfall. Adhikari noted that precipitation is expected along the path where the clouds are moving.

Currently, there is a well-developed local and western airflow in Nepal, with some areas already experiencing continuous rainfall, as mentioned by meteorologists. Today, regions such as Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpashchim provinces have reported water accumulation in various parts, with slightly more water in Bagmati and Gandaki.

Adhikari predicts further changes in weather patterns, with a likelihood of increased variability compared to today. While there may be light to moderate rainfall, the chances of heavy rainfall are relatively low, he added.

Looking ahead, Adhikari highlighted the potential for precipitation in the Himalayan and hilly regions of provinces like Koshi and Bagmati, with a slightly higher probability of rainfall in the Koshi region. He also mentioned that even in areas where there is no rainfall, the changing weather conditions could provide some relief from the heat.

In response to these forecasts, Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his concern about the impact of such weather fluctuations on agriculture and infrastructure in the region. He emphasized the importance of proactive measures to mitigate any potential risks posed by the changing weather patterns.

As the country braces for possible weather changes in the coming days, authorities are advised to closely monitor the situation and provide necessary guidance to the public to ensure safety and preparedness.
