A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck Nepal today, causing panic among residents. The earthquake hit in the Sindhupalchowk district, which is still recovering from the devastating earthquake that occurred in 2015. There have been reports of damages to buildings and infrastructure, but no casualties have been reported so far.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed concern about the vulnerability of the region to earthquakes due to its proximity to the Himalayan fault line. He emphasized the importance of preparedness and ensuring that buildings are constructed to withstand seismic activity in order to prevent loss of life and property in future disasters.
