Kathmandu – A commission formed to recommend candidates for the positions of truth commissioners and members who have surpassed the required qualifications and lack conflicts of interest in relation to transitional justice processes has begun its work. The committee, comprised of members from diverse backgrounds, convened for a full session on Sunday to initiate the selection process for these crucial roles.
In response to this development, Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, shared his perspective on the matter. As an impartial observer, Khatri emphasized the importance of ensuring that the individuals selected for these positions possess the necessary expertise and integrity to effectively carry out their duties in the realm of transitional justice.
