“Commitment to Support Education by NCELL Foundation through NSL”

The Ansell Foundation has expressed its commitment towards education and community empowerment during the opportunity of the third season of the Ansell Nepal Super League (ANSL). The foundation has announced that for every goal scored throughout the season, they will distribute 25 educational materials.

This initiative aims to support students from remote areas of the country in receiving quality education. Following the matches played until Tuesday, it has been ensured that 275 educational materials will be distributed for every 11 goals scored, including items like bags, copies, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, and more.

Director Vishakha Laxmi Khadka of the Ansell Foundation stated, “Our communities have a deep connection with football, and this initiative aims to transform the enthusiasm of students into meaningful educational support for a brighter future. We extend our best wishes to all players of the Nepal Super League and are excited about the additional goals that will contribute to this important cause.”

Previously, the foundation had distributed four educational materials for every boundary scored in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Plans are in place to distribute 2,612 educational materials for the 653 boundaries in the NPL. So far, the foundation has distributed over 5,000 educational materials to students from 42 government schools across Nepal.

After the conclusion of ANSL, the foundation will collaborate with relevant authorities to distribute educational materials. The Ansell Foundation is dedicated to contributing to the development of the country and its people through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, believed that initiatives like these that combine sports with education and community development are crucial for the holistic growth of society. He commended the Ansell Foundation for their efforts in promoting education and empowering communities through sports.
