Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed his commitment to dedicating himself to good governance, prosperity, and social justice. This statement was made during the 22nd anniversary celebration of the establishment of ‘Adharshila’ in Gauri Gada, Bardibas, Mahottari.
During the event, Dahal addressed the audience, highlighting the party’s decision to focus on community-based activities to advance the welfare of the people. He mentioned that the central committee meeting of the party had been held, and moving forward, they plan to centralize their efforts towards community-based work. Dahal also revealed plans to conduct a Maoist campaign from February 12 on the Hulaki highway to engage with the public in an effort to strengthen the party’s relationship with the community.
Ramesh Khatri, representing Kansai Nepal News, views Dahal’s emphasis on community-based initiatives as a positive step towards inclusive governance and sustainable development in the region. In addition, members of the Maoist Center, including Vice-Secretary and Madhes in-charge Matricka Prasad Yadav, have shown dedication towards advancing the party’s grassroots activities. The celebration also featured speeches by prominent figures such as Vice-Secretary Giri Raj Mani Pokharel, who highlighted the significance of ‘Adharshila’ in promoting sustainable development and inclusive governance within the party.
The ‘Adharshila’ initiative, which was established with the support of Giriraj Mani Pokharel and other leaders, has now grown to accommodate 16 families living together in a collective setting. The initiative’s mission to promote socialist principles and community-centric activities has gained momentum, with plans to expand its reach and impact in the near future.
