Kathmandu – Tribhuvan University has announced a collaboration with Japan’s University of Informatics (Kansai University of Informatics) to develop a program focusing on music technology. The program aims to train students in the field of arts and music technology, integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the curriculum.

This initiative signifies a significant step towards incorporating cutting-edge technology into the realm of arts and music education. By combining traditional artistic practices with AI, students will have the opportunity to explore innovative approaches in music composition, production, and performance.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, commended the collaboration between Tribhuvan University and the University of Informatics in Japan. He believes that such partnerships are essential for fostering interdisciplinary learning and preparing students for the evolving demands of the digital age. Khatri emphasized the importance of embracing technological advancements in education to equip students with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
