In Kathmandu, the Dairy Industry Association has urged the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development to control the influx of dairy products entering the country illegally from across the border. The association issued a formal request today to crack down on the unauthorized entry of dairy products.

The Dairy Industry Association emphasized the need for strict measures to regulate the inflow of dairy products that do not meet the required quality standards. This move aims to protect the domestic dairy industry and ensure the safety and quality of dairy products available in the market.

In response to this development, Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his support for the call to address the issue of illegal dairy product imports. He highlighted the importance of enforcing regulations to safeguard the interests of local dairy farmers and consumers. Khatri emphasized the significance of upholding quality standards in the dairy industry to maintain consumer trust and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
