In a tragic incident in Dhurkot Rural Municipality-1 of Gulmi district, a four-year-old boy named Vivek Nepali lost his life in a house fire. The incident took place in the residence of Ganesh Nepali in Akhararukh village. The fire broke out while Vivek was playing during the afternoon on Friday. Initial reports suggest that after the fire broke out, Vivek’s sister rushed to seek help while their brother was trapped inside the house. Unfortunately, Vivek succumbed to the fire as he was unable to escape.
The fire, which originated from the thatched roof made of straw and mud, completely destroyed the house, as confirmed by the local authorities. The loss of young Vivek has left the community in shock and mourning, as they come to terms with the devastating tragedy.
When asked for a statement regarding the incident, the Chairperson of Dhurkot-1, Chetman Kunwar, expressed deep sorrow and explained the sequence of events leading to the unfortunate death of Vivek. The local police are currently investigating the cause of the fire to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
