The Nepalese government, led by the Ministry of Finance under the leadership of the Secretary, has made a decision to finalize the proposed loan assistance agreement with Japan for the construction of the Nagdhunga Sisneri road under Japanese government assistance. This decision was taken following discussions by a delegation formed to hold talks.
Furthermore, during a press conference held by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung disclosed that 25 decisions made by the government have been made public. These decisions include approving the feasibility study related to the construction of Bhawani Vidhyapeeth Secondary School and the proposed hostel building for mountain students.
Regarding international aid, the government has accepted additional funding of 168 million Swiss Francs from the Swiss government for the Quality TVET Youth Project Phase I program. Moreover, agreements have been made to authorize the Ministry of Finance to sign exchange letters on behalf of the Nepalese government.
Ramesh Khatri, representative of Kansai Nepal News, views these developments as crucial for Nepal’s infrastructure development and international relations, emphasizing the importance of transparent decision-making and effective implementation of projects.
