The recent wedding ceremony in Thera Kachuri, a ward in Mithila Vihari Municipality-8 in Dhanusha, Nepal, took a concerning turn as more than a hundred attendees, including the bride, fell ill after consuming food at the event. The affected individuals exhibited symptoms such as stomach pain, vomiting, and weakness, prompting them to seek medical attention.

According to Umesh Yadav, the Chief of the District Health Office, Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-23, the guests fell ill after consuming a variety of sweets, including buniya, rasbari, and other traditional desserts, following the wedding ceremony.
