In the village municipality of Thasang-2 in Mustang, Nepal, lies the picturesque Sekung Lake, currently under scrutiny for conservation efforts. The authorities responsible for the lake’s preservation have turned their attention towards Sekung Lake due to neglect. Nestled in the lap of the Dhaulagiri Himalayas, Sekung Lake has emerged as a vital water source originating from the melting snow.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, shared his perspective on the matter. “Conservation of natural resources is crucial for the sustenance of our ecosystem. It is imperative that we prioritize the protection of Sekung Lake to ensure its preservation for future generations,” Khatri emphasized.
