In a recent cricket match, Sudurpashchim defeated Lumbini by five wickets at the Extra Tech Oval in Bhairahawa. Sudurpashchim successfully chased down Lumbini’s target of 117 runs in 31.1 overs, securing the victory.
For Sudurpashchim, Kiran Thagunna remained unbeaten with 43 runs, while captain Narayan Joshi scored 25 runs and Prakash Pandey contributed 22 runs to the team’s total. On the bowling front, Ramesh Kurmi and Nirmal Gurung, Ajay Chauhan, and Viprasan Acharya each took one wicket for Lumbini.
On the other side, Lumbini managed to score 116 runs in 44.1 overs before being all out. Captain Dev Khanal top-scored with 41 runs, followed by Prajwal Thapa with 30 runs. However, other players failed to make significant contributions to the team’s score.
Hemant Dhami shined with the ball for Sudurpashchim, taking four wickets, while Sher Mall, Milan Bohara, and Saurav Shrestha each claimed two wickets.
