Kathmandu – The runner-up of the first season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) T20 cricket tournament, Sudurpashchim Royals, has finalized the retention of 8 players for the upcoming season. Among them, Deependra Singh Airee has been retained as a marquee player. Additionally, Vinod Bhandari, Aarif Sheikh, Avinash Bohara, Ishan Pandey, and Naran Saud have also been retained by the team.
According to the team’s public statement, they have released 8 players following the league’s regulations of having a limited number of players in the squad. The released players include Arjun Kumal, Naresh Budhathoki, Khadak Bahadur Bohara, Bhojraj Bhatt, Amit Shrestha, and Vasanta Khatri.
