Fatal fight in rehabilitation center results in youth’s death, 7 arrested including manager.

In Janakpur, a tragic incident unfolded at the Navjivan Sudhar Kendra, leading to the death of a man and the subsequent arrest of seven individuals, including the director of the center, by the police. The deceased, identified as Dhirendra Mahato, a 32-year-old from Ramapur, passed away within the premises of the center on Wednesday night. The District Police Office chief in Bara, SP Santosh Tamang, revealed that a dispute escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in Mahato’s demise as per the police’s initial assessment.

Following Mahato’s death, the police promptly apprehended seven individuals, including Sarfaraz Mansuri, Niraj Saraf, Mo Ansu Mia Sheikh, Arun Sararaf, Parmeshwar Sah, Tamanna Ali, and Sagar Gupta, who were all present at the scene. SP Tamang stated that they were taken into custody for further investigation after being detained.

Mahato, who suffered severe injuries from the altercation, was rushed to Kalaiya City Hospital for urgent medical treatment. However, due to the severity of his condition, he was later transferred to a regional hospital where he was pronounced dead. Currently, his body is being kept at the regional hospital in Kalaiya for post-mortem examination.
