A tragic incident has occurred in Bhaktapur, Nepal, where Roshani Shahi, a former health worker and the immediate family member of the former speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, was found dead in her residence. The authorities suspect foul play as a suicide note was discovered at the scene.
The 50-year-old Shahi was residing in a house on Bhrispati Marg in Lakshmeshwar Mahato’s residence in Ward No. 3 of Suryabinayak Municipality in Bhaktapur. According to the local police, Shahi’s body was discovered inside the house where she had been living alone.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police in Bhaktapur, Madhav Budhathoki, stated that Shahi’s body was found with no external injuries on Sunday at around 1:50 PM. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death to determine the cause and any potential involvement of others.
It was revealed that Shahi’s children are residing abroad, while her spouse is reported to be living outside the country. The authorities are exploring all possible leads and motives in this tragic incident.
