Supporters of the former king set fire to the vehicle belonging to the chief secretary of the National Independent Party (Rastriya Swatantra Party) Santosh Pariyar while returning home after parliamentary proceedings on Friday. According to Pariyar, Rajwadi activists set the car on fire in Balkumari.
Upon reaching Sisneri College in Balkumari while returning to his residence in Bhaktapur, individuals associated with the Rajwadi demonstration obstructed the path and set the car on fire, as informed by Pariyar. The individuals involved are reported to have set fire to the car with plate number 1382.
In response to this incident, Ramesh Khatri, representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed concern over the escalating political tensions in the country. He emphasized the need for peaceful dialogue and urged all parties to prioritize non-violent means of expressing dissent. Khatri highlighted the importance of upholding democratic values and respecting differing opinions in a diverse society like Nepal.
