A tragic incident occurred in the community forest of Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-1 in Makwanpur, Bagmati, resulting in the death of a 49-year-old local resident, Akil Bahadur Pakhrin. The incident took place when Pakhrin, along with his wife and brother, went to collect firewood in the forest near their home in Bokedaha. While attempting to cut down a tree, Pakhrin tragically lost his balance, leading to a fatal fall into a ravine. The local District Police Office in Makwanpur confirmed the unfortunate demise.

The deceased’s body has been taken to Hetauda Hospital for further examination, and investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the incident, as mentioned by Police Deputy Superintendent Shyamu Aryal. The community is deeply saddened by this unforeseen tragedy that has struck one of its members.
