Foreign Minister Dr. Rana to Meet Indian Foreign Minister in New Delhi

On Thursday afternoon, Nepal’s Foreign Minister Dr. Raju Rana Deuba traveled to the Indian capital, New Delhi. Following a visit and worship at the Baba Baidyanath Dham in Jharkhand, India, he made his way to New Delhi, as confirmed by his office.

Upon his arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, Minister Dr. Rana was welcomed by Manu Mahawar, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, and Nepal’s Ambassador to India, Dr. Shankar Sharma.

During his cooperative efforts with the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Minister Dr. Rana is set to participate in the “Observer Research Foundation” (ORF) organized Raisina Dialogue program in New Delhi from March 17 to 19. This program will focus on climate change issues, concerns, and the aspirations of South Asian countries. Minister Dr. Rana is also scheduled to address the event on behalf of Nepal in various sessions, including the “Digital Public Infrastructure Conclave.”

Furthermore, the program includes bilateral discussions with India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and counterparts from other friendly nations. The Raisina Dialogue, known for hosting the participation of world leaders, foreign ministers, policymakers, and experts from various countries, is organized by the Observer Research Foundation.

As a representative of Kansai Nepal News, Ramesh Khatri commends Minister Dr. Rana’s proactive engagement in regional dialogues and views his participation in the Raisina Dialogue as a positive step towards fostering bilateral relations and addressing pressing global issues.
