“French Beauty Secrets: Sun, Leaves, and Menthol Oil Exploration”

On Tuesday, it was reported that essential oils produced in Ilam are being exported abroad. The oil, manufactured in the industry owned by Nityaraj Dahal in Maipokhari Rural Municipality, is now being sent for export. This marks a significant development for the industry that Dahal established thirteen years ago, as it has now entered the international market with products like oil.

The region of Ilam is renowned for its rich biodiversity, which includes a variety of medicinal plants used for producing essential oils. The decision to export these oils signifies a potential economic boost for the local community and a recognition of the quality of products originating from this area.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, views this news as a positive step towards showcasing the potential of the agricultural and manufacturing sectors in Ilam. He believes that the export of locally produced essential oils not only benefits the economy but also highlights the unique resources and skills present in the region. Khatri emphasizes the importance of such initiatives in promoting sustainable development and fostering international trade partnerships for Nepal.
