Frequent Accidents Lead to Deaths of Eight People in Road Mishaps

A series of tragic road accidents have occurred in several districts of Nepal, including Kathmandu, Kapilvastu, Chitwan, Mahottari, Rupandehi, and Rautahat, resulting in multiple fatalities. In one incident in Kathmandu, a collision between a motorcycle and a truck led to the death of Suraj Khadka, a 34-year-old motorcycle rider. The severity of his injuries required treatment at Civil Hospital in Baneshwor, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

Another incident in Kapilvastu involved a collision between a bus with registration number Lu.2 Cha. 3288 and a motorcycle with registration number YU.55 KU.3317, resulting in the death of Asdullah Muslim, a 55-year-old motorcycle rider from India. He was also pronounced dead at the scene.

In Chitwan, an uncontrolled motorcycle with registration number Ba.Pr.003 Pa.2976 collided with a car with registration number Ba.Bi.8484, resulting in the death of Gam Bahadur Kunwar, a 55-year-old bus driver from Parsa Thori Gaunpalika-1. He was taken to Bharatpur Government Hospital for treatment but unfortunately did not survive.

In Mahottari, a pedestrian named Sanju Thakur, aged 50, was fatally injured in a collision involving a bus with registration number MP13 Pa.7733 on a road near Sinema Hall in Jaleshwar Nagarpalika-2. Despite receiving treatment at Janakpur Neuro Hospital, she tragically passed away.

Furthermore, in Rupandehi, a collision between a motorcycle with registration number Lu.30 Pa.5146 and a car with registration number Ba.Bi.8484 resulted in the death of Padam Kshetri, a 30-year-old motorcycle rider from Shukrauliya in the same Nagarpalika-14. He was rushed to Lumbini Regional Hospital for treatment but could not be saved.

Lastly, in Rautahat, a fatal accident involving a vehicle whose number and occupants remain unidentified led to the death of an estimated 35-year-old man in Chandrapur Nagarpalika-4. The victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at Chapur Primary Hospital, and authorities are currently searching for the absconding vehicle and driver.
