“Gas-Filled Balloon Suspect Caught, Released on Bail Today”

In Kathmandu, an Indian national named Kamlesh has been arrested on charges of selling hydrogen gas filled balloons in Belun. The Hungarian District Administration Office has issued an order to release him on bail. Kamlesh was present in court on Wednesday when the Kashki District Administration Office granted him bail.

Authorities have confirmed that Kamlesh will be released after completing the necessary legal procedures. The balloons in question were sold during the inauguration ceremony of the Pokhara visit in 2025. The incident involving the hydrogen-filled balloon explosion caused injuries to Finance Minister Vishnu Paudel and Mayor Dhanraj Acharya of Pokhara Metropolitan City.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, believes that incidents like these highlight the importance of strict regulations and safety measures when dealing with potentially hazardous materials. He emphasizes the need for thorough investigations to prevent such accidents in the future and ensure the safety of the public.
