Kathmandu – The initiation of the construction work for the expansion of the Gautam Buddha International Airport has been announced. The airport’s Chief Administrator, Pratap Babu Tiwari, shared that the project has commenced in coordination with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal and other relevant authorities. This expansion project is crucial for the operation and management of the airport.

The Gautam Buddha International Airport, located in Bhairahawa, is a key aviation hub in Nepal, serving domestic and international flights. With the increasing air traffic and passenger demands, the need for expanding the airport infrastructure has become imperative. Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his opinion on this significant development.
