Located in Suma Ward, the “Le Un Kobe Geihinkan” will be offering two types of seasonal “hors d’oeuvre sets” available for takeout. Situated at 2-4-1 Rikyu Nishimachi, Suma Ward, Kobe, the Kobe Geihinkan is a historic building constructed during the Taisho era, standing tall for over a century, overlooking Suma from its elevated position. Renowned for its preserved ambiance of yesteryears, the Western-style mansion allows patrons to enjoy a meal while taking in the picturesque views.
The idea for the “hors d’oeuvre sets” came to fruition in response to customer requests to enjoy Le Un’s cuisine at home. The offerings include two variations: a cold hors d’oeuvre plate featuring delights like Bagna Cauda, Quiche Lorraine, Angel Shrimp Cocktail, and Smoked Salmon, among others; and a warm dish plate comprising seasonal grilled vegetables, pan-seared seasonal fish, roasted Kobe pork, and more, each serving four people.
The sales for both sets will commence on January 6, 2025, with Le Un Kobe Geihinkan accepting pickups between 12:00 and 19:00, except on Tuesdays. The cold hors d’oeuvre plate includes a variety of delicacies like seafood marinière, charcuterie assortment, and short pasta salad, while the warm dish plate boasts grilled seasonal vegetables, Provençal-style pan-seared fish, and Kobe pork roast, to name a few.
Priced at ¥10,000 each (tax included), reservations must be made at least seven days in advance through the official website. Indulging in authentic French cuisine at home is a delightful experience, perfect for special occasions like birthdays or parties. For those interested, further details can be found on the official website of Le Un Kobe Geihinkan.
For a unique celebration or a gourmet experience without leaving the comfort of home, these exquisite hors d’oeuvre sets from the historic Kobe Geihinkan are a delightful choice.
