Kathmandu – The Global AIM Bank Limited has publicly released the calendar for the new year 2082. The calendar includes rare images depicting Nepali lifestyles from decades past, capturing traditional practices and cultural nuances.

At an event held at the bank’s corporate office in Kamaladi, the calendar was unveiled to the public by Chandraprasad Dhakal, the President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Global AIM Bank. The calendar features rare images that encapsulate the bygone Nepali lifestyles, living habits, and traditional customs. These images serve to evoke memories of the changing lifestyles and living practices over the decades, aiming to provide insights into past ways of life and cultural contexts to newer generations.

In a statement during the calendar’s public unveiling, President Dhakal emphasized the bank’s commitment to fulfilling its institutional social responsibilities by engaging in various social activities. He recalled the bank’s past efforts in publishing subjects related to Nepali art and culture in previous years, stating, “Preserving and promoting Nepali art, literature, culture, and civilization is essential for Nepal’s comprehensive development.”

The event was attended by the bank’s executive committee, senior management, employees, and various individuals. Global AIM Bank operates branch networks in the country’s most remote districts, making it the largest commercial bank in the private sector and providing banking services through over 1,100 service centers, including 77 districts and three international liaison/foreign representative offices.

The bank aims to serve all segments of society by offering various services and facilities, benefiting over 5 million customers with excellent services. Furthermore, by facilitating remittance from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, India, Jordan, and Hong Kong, Global AIM Bank plays a significant role in contributing to the country’s economy.
