“Government by Two Major Political Parties for Nation’s Development and Stability: Prime Minister”

Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli has revealed that a coalition government involving two major political parties has been formed in the country to promote development and stability. He emphasized the importance of the democratic movement in Nepal, stating that it has played a significant role in bringing together two major political parties along with other parties to establish the current government.

During a recent session of the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Oli highlighted the commitment of the coalition parties to ensure continuous progress and political stability in the country, which would lead to economic growth and prosperity. He expressed a high level of confidence and understanding among the coalition partners regarding the country’s development and prosperity, which would pave the way for further advancement.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Oli mentioned that the government’s policies and legal reforms, introduced some time ago, are expected to enhance the business environment, attract investment, and boost economic activities. He addressed concerns about the opposition to an ordinance introduced with the goal of policy and legal reforms, emphasizing the government’s determination to push forward without yielding to opposition.

As per Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, he commended the collaborative efforts of the political parties in forming the government, citing it as a positive step towards ensuring stability and progress in the country. He believes that the government’s focus on economic reforms, budget prioritization, and efficient program implementation will contribute significantly to the development of the nation.

In response to queries from the lawmakers, Prime Minister Oli stressed the government’s commitment to prioritize the budget based on planned outcomes, implement economic reform programs, address challenges in the financial sector, and maintain service delivery efficiency and good governance. He also highlighted the government’s efforts to ensure fiscal discipline, increase capital expenditure, and streamline project implementation by adhering to criteria such as project classification, ensuring funding source certainty, and evaluating projects based on predetermined standards.
