The government’s policy and program presented in the parliament have been approved by the House of Representatives. During Sunday’s meeting of the House of Representatives, the policy and program were presented for decision-making. The Speaker, Devraj Ghimire, announced that the policy and program had been endorsed by a majority.
Opposition members who voted against the policy and program were countered by members of the ruling party who voted in favor. Prior to the presentation of the decision, discussions were held on the policy and program on the dates of Baisakh 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 28.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, commented that the approval of the government’s policy and program signifies a step forward in the country’s governance. He highlighted the importance of bipartisan cooperation in shaping policies that benefit the nation as a whole.
