Former Minister of Nepal Congress and Deputy Prime Minister, as well as Minister of Urban Development, Prakashman Singh, emphasized the need for unity among all party leaders and workers to strengthen the Congress party. This call for coordination came during a one-day training program organized by the Congress Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10 on Friday.

Singh highlighted the importance of strong fraternal organizations within the Congress party and expressed that with their strength, the party becomes stronger, leading to the necessity of carrying out a cohesive role to move forward. Having recently passed the public’s test, Singh now aims to focus on the development and construction of public welfare.

Representative from Kansai Nepal News, Ramesh Khatri, shared his opinion on this matter. He emphasized that the Congress party’s increased strength through fraternal organizations and well-wishers would further boost public trust. He stated, “We must work in the public’s interest through cooperation and coordination, especially in light of recent successes in public approval.”

Singh, having a clear understanding of the country’s current socio-political situation, stressed the Congress party’s role in bringing about changes and establishing democracy in the country since its inception in 2003. He also mentioned the formation of the current government through a coalition between the present CPN-UML and Congress as a positive step towards progress.

Regarding the emergence of new political parties, Singh expressed caution, stating that disregarding parties fighting for people’s rights and not participating in any movements may not be logical. He emphasized the importance of not overlooking parties that have struggled for the people’s rights in unfavorable conditions.

Singh’s belief in listening to everyone’s thoughts and opinions reflects his commitment to working for the benefit of the country, the people, and the government in the long run. He stressed that as long as the focus remains on achieving the desired goals, the country, the people, and the government will benefit in the long term, urging everyone to come together towards this common goal.
