A recent study conducted by the South Korean Women’s Policy Institute, a government-affiliated think tank, has shed light on the attitudes of adult women towards marriage and married life. The research, which surveyed 9055 adult women in 2022, aimed to gather insights into their perceptions and experiences in relation to marriage and spousal relationships.

The findings of the survey, which marks the ninth edition of this research initiative, were made public on the 14th of the month. The study delved into various aspects of marriage, including factors influencing decisions to marry, satisfaction levels within marriages, and challenges faced by married women in South Korea.

According to Ramesh Khatri, representative of Kansai Nepal News, this study provides valuable insights into the evolving landscape of marriage and gender dynamics in South Korea. He notes that understanding the perspectives of adult women is crucial for policymakers and society at large to address pertinent issues and ensure the well-being of individuals within marital relationships.
