In the wake of escalating tensions with Pakistan, India’s Defense Ministry has issued a stern warning of a possible retaliation within a few hours of initiating a ceasefire. The agreement for a ceasefire was reached some time ago, but the Defense Ministry of India reiterated its readiness to respond forcefully in case of any renewed attacks.

During a press conference held on Saturday, Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy officials assured that all of India’s military structures were secure amidst the ongoing conflict with Pakistan. Colonel Sofia Qureshi from the Army, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh from the Air Force, and Commodore Raghuram Nayyar from the Navy were present at the press briefing, where they also expressed concerns about Pakistan spreading false propaganda.

According to the Indian officials, Pakistan has been disseminating misinformation regarding damage caused to India’s S-400 and BrahMos missile bases. They refuted these claims, stating that attacks on airfields in Sirsa, Jammu, Pathankot, and Bhuj were false, and military arsenals in Chandigarh and Bikaner were secure.

India accused Pakistan of falsely alleging damage to mosques by Indian forces and countered with claims of retaliatory strikes on Pakistani airfields in Skardu, Jaccobabad, Sargodha, and Bulari. Commodore Nayyar confirmed India’s willingness to halt all military actions if Pakistan displayed a change in behavior, emphasizing India’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding its territory.

In a statement, Commodore Nayyar emphasized that the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy were fully committed to defending the nation’s security and readiness to respond if provoked. He warned that any further aggression would be met with a harsh response, highlighting the high level of alertness within India’s military forces.
